Well this is my first journal entry since I joined the deviants.  Anywho, I would like to use this oppertunity to showcase my lastest writings.  If you, the reader, know anything about the game Starcraft you will understand this a little better.  If you haven't, well...you may still find it interesting.

Year 3069, following the pacification of the infant Zerg Overmind UED forces sccoured the moons of the Zerg homeworld Char, eliminating the evil Zerg infestation wherever it showed its ugly face.  On Char's largest moon, Makor, a contingent of UED forces search what remaines of a UED Staging area after it was attacked by the fleeing Juggernaut Brood.  The taskforce, headed by Sargeant Mathis, was instructed to move inside the supply complex and continue the search there.  He and his force of two score marines entered the Massive vehicular tunnel which was the entrance.

2 hours later,

"Geez Sarge" griped Corporal Louis, "When does this tunnel end?"  "Shut you trap Corporal and it'll be over a lot faster" replied the less then happy Sargeant.  He too was getting impatient.  All at once the tunnel ended at a supply dock.  They rested for a while.  The marines drank some of their compacted water, as they weren't allowed to drink alchohol on duty.  Suddenly, without provocation, one of the rookies, a spaniard named Caparzo, started yelling in Spanish.  The marines turned just in time to see him impaled by a massive tendril and get pulled back into the darkness.  "Holy shit!" proclaimed Louis.  The marines in the back started raining gauss into the dark tunnel behind until a few seconds later they heard the Sarge screaming, "Hold your fire dammit!"  The marines listened intently as silence enveloped them.  All of a sudden an immense behemoth of a creature slammed to the ground causing abandoned supply trucks to rock on their axels and several marines to fall to the ground.  The beast was nearly thirty feet tall with huge glistening scimitar-like blades protruding from its face.  It was a big around as it was tall practically blocking the tunnel exit passage.  It emitted a roar like no other which caused the rookies among the marines to cower in terror.  The harden veterans barely stood their ground and fired their gauss rifles into the towering monster.  This only seemed to anger it, however, and it barrelled into a supply truck sending it crashing through the marines and into the supply dock.  A marine with a NuKeR Mark VI launched a volley of tiny tactical nukes into the beasts (apparent) mouth and for a few seconds time seemed to stand still.  The Sarge looked up from the pinned corporal just in time to see the neast explode in a shower of blood and gore.
